The communication sent via email requesting someone to attend your conference call or web conference.
The copying of a file from one computer to another over a computer network.
The primary method for keeping a computer secure from intruders. A firewall allows or
blocks traffic into and out of a private network or the user's computer. Firewalls
are widely used to give users secure access to the Internet as well as to separate a
company's public Web server from its internal network.

plus communication skills.

notified that she/he has a message and can then respond accordingly.

attendees to join immediately rather than scheduling in advance and sending email
invitations and receiving RSVP's.
Found in compliment with some web conferencing software, multipoint video
conferencing allows for multiple people from different locations to broadcast
and receive video and audio over the internet with a PC, microphone and webcam.
H.323 and MPEG4 are both integrated multipoint video conferencing technologies in
IMConferencing. See also
point-to-point video conferencing.
A similar experience to the in-person meeting but done over the Internet using web
conferencing, audio conferencing and video conferencing services in compliment
with application sharing and online presentations.
Synonymous with host or moderator, the organizer is generally the one that schedules
and hosts the conference call or web conference.
A person attending a web conference or conference call, typically not used when
referring to the conference host.
Conducting a conference between two or more participants at different PC's while
transmitting audio and video data. For example, a point-to-point (two parties)
video conferencing system works much more like a video telephone. Each participant
has a video camera, speakers and microphone connected to their computer. Once
the two participants have established their video conference connection and
enabled streaming, each party will be able to send and receive audio and
video service from their web conferencing software. See also

and
multipoint video conferencing.
Technical assistance from a hardware manufacturer, software publisher, internal
helpdesk educational institution or third-party support company. The most important
thing to understand about getting help from technical support is the amount of
detail you need to supply them. It will significantly help when getting technical
support if you are sitting in front of your computer with the application running
and on the screen if at all possible. If you receive an error message, either
write down exactly what it says or hit "print screen" from your keyboard and
paste the image into a Word document.
A meeting via the telephone in which 3 or more parties are connected by a conference

identify a specific web conference session; the details (date, time, number of
participants, host, etc…) and any session recordings or data associated with it.
LiveOffice IMConferencing provides for its clients a web-based meeting manager
that will enable conference hosts to create a scheduled web conferencing session
and manage its invitees and RSVP's. From the meeting manager, all administrative
account features and online event management are available.
The act of getting 3 or more parties involved in an online meeting at the same time
using a web conference application to enable everyone connection in the same
