File transfer allows you to distribute documents and files immediately during your online meeting. Application sharing lets
you present and display a document or application while web conferencing but viewers will not be granted access to the
file itself.

Why is file transfer beneficial » |
File transfer allows you to quickly and securely distribute files to online meeting attendees in real-time. This will not only avoid
spam filters but enable you to distribute larger files that are otherwise difficult to distribute. Examples of timely use:
- Conclude a presentation and send participants a copy of your presentation.
- Distribute product brochures and relevant information during sales presentations.
- Provide relevant documentation after support and training sessions.

What is my online storage » |
|
Every active web conferencing user is provided an online storage area where previously uploaded files remain for future
access from any location. This will ensure you have previous meeting materials available to you during any new online meetings.

How do I distribute documents and files during my web conference » |
During your web conferencing session, click on Files in the moderator toolbar and the file transfer service will open in the
main work area. There are three separate sections:
My Computer: This is for you to access files directly from your PC.
File [Online]: This is for you to access files directly from your online storage.
File [Shared]: This is the area for you to drag and drop files for distribution.
To distribute, simply click once on the file and drag your mouse with file into the shared area.

Do files have to be in my online storage already to transfer » |
No. You can select files from the local PC at any time.
My Computer: is for you to access files directly from your PC.

How do web conferencing participants download / receive files » |
|
Once the selected file has been successfully transferred, the web conferencing participant will see the file type and name
appear in the [File Shared] window where they can either right-click / select Download and specify the Folder or they can
simple drag and drop the file from File [Shared] window to My Computer window and folder.

How do I delete files from my online storage » |
|
To remove a file, right-click on any file within your online storage and select Delete.
